How to make a drum practice pad

Did you find it difficult to get a practice pad in nearby shops or did you find it bit costlier, no probs, you have come to a right place, we'll make our own practice pad in few simple steps.

Here’s what you need:

1) A Mousepad - it helps drumsticks to rebound

2) Chakla (Dough rolling wooden board) - a thin wooden surface is always good for practicing.

3) Envelop (or a piece of a paper) - just to look good, it also fills the gap.

4) Pressure cooker sealing ring - This is to attach everything together, you can also use duct tape.

Here’s how you make :

1) Cut mousepad to fit onto the board.

2) Cut paper to fit onto the board.

You can also take help of an expert ;) (Maa always helps me in my all stupidity :) )

3) Place the paper on the board.

4) Place the mouspad onto it

5) Now place the ring such that everything else fits inside it properly.

Here’s your Practice Pad ready.

I got mine inaugurated by Maa :) -
